Tom Cruise prepping to be 'Rock' star

Sporting longer-than-usual hair, Cruise - with wife Katie Holmes by his side - last night received the Simon Wiesenthal Center's top humanitarian honor for his longtime support to the Jewish organization.
"It's humbling, and it's a tremendous honor," Tom told Entertainment Tonight's Samantha Harris. "It's a very special night."
Cruise also spoke about moving into some new territory while gearing up to play a rock star in Rock of Ages, set for release in June 2012. "I've just been working with a voice coach, who's outstanding," he said. "I've been studying music and having a great time."
