Because: Just because you're a geek girl doesn't mean you don't like to accessorize. What better way to embrace fashion and geekdom at the same time than with a snazzy headband by Janine Basil of London. Janine has a variety of headbands inspired by comics, otakus, burlesque, pinup and punk.
At the moment, I only have one headband which is a purple heart featuring Japanese for the phrase "doki doki." (Doki doki is Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound of a heart beating rapidly.) I bought it because: a) I like the sound of the words; b) I love anime; and c) as sappy as this may seem, it reminds me of how I feel whenever I am near my husband.
