As expected, the royal wedding bouquet, following the official wedding photos in the Buckingham Palace Throne Room, was sent back to Westminster Abbey to be placed on the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, a royal wedding tradition since Prince William's great-grandparents were married there in 1923.
At the abbey on Saturday and Sunday, long lines of visitors stretched all around the huge church, waiting hours to get in to see the wedding floral arrangements, which will be left in place until May 6. TV cameras captured shots of the bouquet resting on the top of the tomb in the floor of the nave near the entrance to the abbey.
